Thonet Swivel Desk Chair no 5501 ZPM Radomsko

This office chair / swivel chair consists of a brown wooden (bentwood) frame and a cane seat and back. The design of this chair is by Thonet and dates from 1866. The chair was shown at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1889. The seat is adjustable in height. In good condition with normal signs of use.

ZPM Radomsko was a former post-W.W. II expropriated Thonet factory in Poland.

Condition: Good. Wear is consistent with age and use. Great patina which is consistent with age and use. Sturdy chair. The chair is easily adjustable in height. A number of screws have been renewed.
