Oak Art Deco Hague School chair by H. Fels for L.O.V. Oosterbeek from the 1920s. The sturdy chairs are marked and the seats are reupholstered in a black rib fabric.
The L.O.V. Oosterbeek Haagse school chairs are known for their sturdy character and were made in The Netherlands, in the small town of Oosterbeek. The design of the chairs was inspired by the American architect Frank Lloyd Wight.
N.V. Labor Omnia Vincit (LOV for short) was a well-known furniture factory in the small town Oosterbeek in The Netherlands that has made a name for itself in the history of Dutch applied art as a progressive factory, both in the field of business management and in the field of furniture design. All the furniture were signed with L.O.V. (Labor Omnia Vincit = Work Conquers All).
