This large suitcase with 4 removable drawers was designed by Christian Dior to hold 60 sunglasses. Each drawer has 15 large and sturdy compartments that can be adjusted.

The mark; "Christian Dior Lunettes de Soleil" is engraved in the rubber foam in gold which means it is original. The mark can be seen on the entire outside on the burgundy surfaces. The gold locks and corners are beautifully weathered and the suitcase can be locked with a code lock. The lock is made by Franzen, Germany. Leather is applied to the sides. 

The suitcase was prior in the possession of a museum in the Netherlands for many years.

The condition of the case is good, but used. Wear is consistent with age and use. Great patina which is consistent with age and use. The exterior is somewhat weathered and the markings are somewhat faded. The rubber foam on the inside is somewhat yellowed. For a suitcase that is more than 50 years old, it is in good condition.
