Edwardian Swivel Office Desk Chair Mahogany 1920s

A beautiful director's desk chair in mahogany. This sheep leather chair with a Hillcrest mechanism is in good condition. The leather is nicely weathered.

The office chair incorporates a revolving Hillcrest mechanism and it rotates 360 degrees; the seat height can be adjusted by turning a ribbed metal screw on the underside of the chair. The Hillcrest mechanism also features a reclining action, the tension of which can be adjusted by turning a small wheel at the front of the mechanism.
