Art Nouveau Gebrüder Thonet “Salon Canapé” Bench no. 6275 Bentwood Wien

Very rare Vienna Secession “Salon Canapé” Bench from Thonet no. 6275 in great condition. The bench is equipped with new webbing straps and is newly upholstered with a strong green-coloured furniture fabric. Michael Thonet found the process of bending wood by means of steaming in the mid-19th century. In the Thonet 1904–07 catalog you can find this design piece.
