An antique English carved wood corner armchair in the Victorian Renaissance style, dating to the late 19th century.

The chair has a dark-stained wooden frame with a curved back, turned details and carved decoration, including two large masks beneath the backrest.

The chair retains its original sprung and padded seat, which was reupholstered at a later date in a beige woven fabric with a muted pink geometric pattern, finished with decorative upholstery nails. The dark wood and unusual corner shape give the chair a strong Victorian character for both classic and contemporary interiors.
