A pair of high quality Oak Art Deco Haagse School chairs by H. Fels for L.O.V. Oosterbeek from the 1920s. Beautifully detailed designed marked chairs. The completely original sturdy chairs with black accents are reupholstered in a black rib fabric.
LOV Oosterbeek
In 1910, Gerrit Pelt founded the N.V. Oosterbeeksche furniture factory “Labor Omnia Vincit”.
The factory aimed to make functional and durable handcrafted furniture to elevate the working class. The company provided for worker participation and numerous social provisions for the employees.
The colleagues were the Amsterdam and Haagse school furniture makers.
